Security print features
There are many possibilities to secure certificates, diplomas, vouchers, parking tickets, entrance tickets, etc. Our special printing techniques make counterfeiting complicated or impossible. Techniques such as embossing or foiling are used in addition to security to give a document the appearance and value of a certificate. It is possible to combine multiple (visible and invisible) techniques. We are happy to think along with you.
Printing with UV ink
UV ink is invisible ink that becomes visible when it is illuminated with a UV lamp. We can apply the ink in any shape (logo/text/pattern) and in any desired size.
UV paper is paper in which UV fibres are incorporated. These are invisible to the naked eye but light up when a UV lamp is shined on them.
Not to be copied
Watermark – By printing paper on the back with a special ink, the illusion of a watermark is created on the front. This watermark detail cannot be copied. For the best result, we recommend paper thicknesses up to 200 grams.
(Holographic) foil – Holographic foil is available in many patterns and can also be made with your own text or logo. ‘Normal’ foil is available in many (metallic) colours and many shades of gold and silver. Amicro text can be applied to the foil print.
Thermo printing – Paramount or thermal printing is a thickened (resin) layer that is applied in offset to one or more PMS colours. Can be applied to text but also to larger surfaces.
Embossing – By embossing, a part of the paper (a text or logo) is pressed upwards. When no ink is used, it is called blind embossing. An embossing can be combined with a foil (foil embossing).
