Caching

What is caching? This printing technique is sometimes also called ‘laminating’ and involves gluing one or more layers of paper or cardboard together. It is a great way to give your printed matter something extra. We often glue 2 or 3 sheets together to thicken the paper to, for example, 600 grams or more. This can be done for all types and sizes of printed matter.

When you choose to glue different types, thicknesses or/and colours of paper, you create the most special combinations and unique results. And the great thing is: this printing technique can be combined well with our other specialist techniques, making your printing even more special.

With us, quality and creativity are paramount, and with our expertise we take your printing to a higher level. Be inspired and surprised by the possibilities of caching.

Caching to conceal transfer

At Speciaaldrukkerij Douma, where we have been making the most beautiful things with love and passion since 1902, we understand the challenges of advanced printing. A common question from customers is whether we can conceal the impression on the back when  embossing  or  letterpress  . With lamination we offer an elegant solution: by gluing embossed paper to a blank sheet, the embossing on the back is no longer visible. This ensures a sleek and professional finish, with the focus on the beautiful details on the front.
